Texas does not require or currently have special admission rules for government attorneys licensed in other jurisdictions to be able to practice as Texas government attorneys because they do not allow admission on motion in general.

New Mexico relies upon Rule 15-301.1 that gives special admission rules for government attorneys licensed in other jurisdictions to be able to practice as New Mexico government attorneys because they do not allow admission on motion in general.

Arkansas does not require or currently have special admission rules for government attorneys licensed in other jurisdictions to be able to practice as Arkansas government attorneys. Arkansas government attorneys still must adhere to other rules and regulations. As do Arkansas military admitted attorneys.

Texas does not have special admission rules for Texas house counsel, or to be admitted as a Texas house counsel are able to practice in Texas without special admission rules according to the Texas Board of Law Examiners.

New Mexico does not have special admission rules for New Mexico house counsel, or to be admitted as a New Mexico. New Mexico house counsel are still to be held to the same standard as barred New Mexico attorneys and must pay all dues, respect the ethical code, and abide by all laws and regulations.

Louisiana House Counsel are governed by Louisiana Section 14. This rule enables attorneys who are not licensed in the state of Louisiana to practice in Louisiana as house counsel. There are certain requirements to be eligible under this rule.
