Texas does not have special admission rules for Texas house counsel, or to be admitted as a Texas house counsel are able to practice in Texas without special admission rules according to the Texas Board of Law Examiners. Such attorneys are still to be held to the same standard as barred Texas attorneys and must pay all dues, respect the ethical code, and abide by all laws and regulations.
